Alex Lee, S.E. joined MHP in 2024 as a Senior Project Engineer. Based in our San Diego office, he brings expertise in both designing new buildings and evaluating historic structures. He strengthens local client relationships while supporting the growth of our San Diego team.
Alex holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from UCLA and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego and is a licensed professional and structural engineer in California.
Alex is currently involved in several projects, including the Mammoth Arts and Cultural Center (now under construction), Mission Bay High School Modernization, Fullerton Union High School Athletics Building, and the UCI Health Lakewood SPC-4D Retrofit Design. He has also contributed to numerous evaluation and anchorage projects at UC San Diego and San Diego State University and served as a mentor to our summer interns.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys running, golfing, planning travel adventures with his wife, and tackling DIY home renovation projects. We’re grateful for his contributions to MHP and our San Diego team, and we look forward to his continued growth as an engineer.
