This exceptional group of aspiring structural engineers is ready to dive into real-world projects, collaborate with our team, and build the skills that will shape their future careers. We’re excited to invest in the next generation of engineers and can’t wait to see what they’ll accomplish this summer.
Joining our Long Beach office are:
Gianluca Alvarez – Pursuing his BS in Engineering Physics at UC Berkeley and will be graduating in the Spring of 2028.
Poul Rouland – Pursuing his B.S. in Architectural Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and will be graduating in the Spring of 2027.
Matthew Sy, EIT – Graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in the Spring of 2026 with a BS in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis. This fall, he will be returning to USC to pursue an MS in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus.
Joining our San Diego office are:
Abby Austin – Graduated in the Spring of 2026 from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Architectural Engineering and a minor in Construction Management. In the Fall, she will be attending Virginia Tech to pursue a MS in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Structural Engineering and materials.
Marcus Wurts, EIT – Graduated in the Spring of 2026 from University of California San Diego (UCSD) with a BS in Structural Engineering with a focus in Civil Structures and a minor in mathematics. This upcoming Fall, he will continue his studies at UCSD, pursuing a MS in Structural Engineering.
