MHP would like to congratulate our longstanding client, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, on their successful mission of Artemis II.
Artemis II marks a historic milestone as the first U.S. mission in over 50 years to send astronauts around the moon. While not a landing mission, it will carry humans farther from Earth than ever before. JPL’s Deep Space Network (DSN) plays a critical role in the mission, enabling communication with the spacecraft through three massive antenna systems strategically located around the globe—Goldstone (near Barstow, CA), Madrid, Spain, and Canberra, Australia.
MHP has proudly partnered with JPL since 2002 as Campus Engineer, completing more than 200 projects spanning a wide range of structural challenges. Our work includes seismic evaluations of nine key facilities, structural engineering support for the renovation of the 70-meter Goldstone antenna (pictured below), the Mars Rover Touchdown Testing Structure, and replacement of the space simulator chamber hoist.
In addition to these major efforts, MHP continues to support JPL with thoughtful, reliable structural solutions for numerous essential facility projects.
