MHP is thrilled to welcome back Carsten Huber, EIT, who joins us full-time as a Design Engineer after previously interning with our team.
Carsten graduated with his B.S. in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2024 and went on to complete his M.S. in Structural Engineering at UC San Diego in 2025. During his academic journey, he also passed the NCEES PE Civil Structural Exam, taking a significant step toward his goal of becoming a licensed Professional Engineer.
Originally from Sierra Vista, Arizona, Carsten was drawn back to Long Beach—both by the coast and the opportunity to grow his career with MHP.
Beyond engineering, he’s an avid outdoors enthusiast who enjoys hiking and backpacking.
We’re excited to have Carsten return to MHP and look forward to seeing his continued growth, contributions, and success in the industry.
