Marisol Shankar joined MHP in 2004 and serves as Senior Engineering Technician on our Due Diligence team. As the key coordinator for projects from RFP through to deliverables, she ensures seamless day-to-day operations with clients, provides technical support on multi-hazard risk projects, and upholds the highest quality standards for our due diligence reports. Her work spans everything from drafting accurate proposals and coordinating site visits to reviewing documentation, researching seismic hazards, and performing quality control reviews of work products.
This summer, Marisol supported the team in wrapping up seismic risk assessment updates for two large multi-site portfolios in the Bay Area and SoCal, alongside specialized due diligence reporting for medical office buildings in Los Angeles, California; Memphis, Tennessee; and various cities in Oregon and Washington state, as well as the usual variety of desktop reviews. Needless to say, it’s been a busy season!
Marisol also brings Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and disaster planning experience to her role. She holds an A.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, and is currently based in Portland, Oregon. Outside of work, you can find her playing dodgeball, lifting heavy at the gym, cheering at a hockey game, or exploring Portland with her family.
With more than two decades of dedication to MHP, Marisol has been an incredible part of our team, and we’re excited to keep growing our Due Diligence sector alongside her.
