Brennen Becica joined MHP as a Project Engineer in 2019 and now has 10 years of experience in seismic evaluations, renovations, structural strengthening, and new design projects. At MHP, he focuses primarily on our retail and education sectors, including collaboration with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) to obtain structural drawings approval.

Early in his career with us, Brennen played a key role as lead project engineer on several retail projects, managing everything from design development to construction drawings and project completion. Currently, he is working on two new school buildings at Mark Keppel High School (Alhambra USD) and Millikan High School (Long Beach USD) and contributing to upgrades at the Track and Field stadium at Gardena High School.

Beyond his project work, Brennen is an active member of the SEAOSC (Structural Engineers Association of Southern California) and MHP’s Sustainability Committee, supporting the SE 2050 movement to reduce the embodied carbon footprint of the built environment.

Brennen holds a B.S. in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego and is a licensed professional engineer in California.

Outside of work, you’ll find him on the basketball court, skiing in Mammoth, or enjoying Pickleball. He’s also a dedicated Lakers and Packers fan.

We’re proud of Brennen’s dedication and contributions over the past six years and look forward to his continued growth and success at MHP!
