MHP provided the Structural Engineering for the major expansion and renovation of the Lakewood YMCA to better serve the local community. The project consists of a new two-story fitness center constructed with structural steel system, which supports exercise equipment and aerobic functions on the second floor above childcare and an administrative office on the first floor. A new two-story entry lobby provides natural lighting as well as creating connectivity between the community spaces.  General renovation of the public and pool areas balances out the project.
