Senior Living facilities require special attention to ensure the project provides elderly occupants a “home-like” environment with privacy, independence and an enhanced living experience.

Structures include multi-story wood-frame buildings and steel frame buildings, often constructed over concrete podium or subterranean parking levels. Lateral force-resisting systems have included shear walls, moment frames, and braced frames. Sites have included suburban locations as well as dense urban environments with limited access. Project sizes typically range from 50,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft of living space. Construction value for Sunrise facilities designed by MHP exceeds One Billion dollars.
