Supporting ABHOW’s mission to provide an active living and adventure lifestyle to seniors, MHP provided structural engineering services for San Joaquin Gardens, a Multi-Level Care campus of American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW). The five building campus includes Assisted Living, Independent Living, Dining and Multi-Purpose Facilities, Skilled Nursing and Administration occupancies.  Jurisdiction for the project is the City of Fresno with the exception of the Skilled Nursing Facility, which is under OSHPD jurisdiction.

The phased project encompasses 350,000 square feet of building and subterranean parking. Construction includes a variety of wood and steel framing systems, pre-fabricated trusses and shearwalls, seismic separations within buildings, and conventional concrete flat slab parking structures.
