During his 17 years of tenure with MHP, Jesse, in his role as a Partner, developed the analytical tools and methodology that allowed MHP to move to the forefront of the structural engineering profession in the design of buildings and structures to resist blast loading and progressive collapse from terrorist attack. He is a licensed structural engineer in California.   Jesse led MHP teams in the high tech analysis of complex structural systems using state of the art non-linear dynamic modeling tools. This legacy remains at MHP.

To further pursue industry goals of research in steel framing systems, Jesse now serves as Director of Research for SidePlate Systems, Inc., Laguna Hills, CA while maintaining a project consulting role with MHP on an exclusive retainer basis.

Jesse graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering in 1992.  He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
