Following the merger of his company Bole & Wilson, Inc to MHP in 2000, Frank S. Bole brings longevity and history from his career in engineering that began in 1958. He is a licensed Structural Engineer in several states including California, Arizona, Hawaii, Washington, and Ohio which increases MHP’s ability to serve clients outside of California. Pleased with the success of the transition of his client base into the MHP family, Frank has the ability to offer the same degree of professional service to MHP’s clients with the added benefit of having the very latest technology and technical tools at his disposal.
Frank has extensive structural and seismic design experience in all building categories and sizes, including work on medical facilities, senior housing, educational facilities, and other institutional projects. Special responsibilities within MHP include project management for projects designed and constructed under OSHPD jurisdiction including hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, and public schools under DSA jurisdiction. He manages several industrial and telecommunications projects and performs varied tasks from basic engineering and handling specifications to more advanced coordination like implementing budgets and schedules for projects ranging from $1,000 to $100,000,000.
His experience provides a valuable source of guidance for the younger engineers who seek expertise and direction with their designs. Frank prides himself in continuing relationships with clients based around strong and persistent communication.
As a graduate from the University of Southern California, Frank holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from 1958 and a Masters in Science degree in Civil Engineering from 1962. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC). Frank lives in Los Alamitos with his wife and is father to two daughters and a son. He is a sports enthusiast who considers himself a small baseball historian. He enjoys frequent trips to Mammoth and Europe or traveling abroad to any place one can go!
