Engineering Intern in Long Beach and San Diego Office

MHP is excited to offer an internship in both our Long Beach and San Diego Offices this summer.

MHP’s internship program goals are two-fold:

Our first goal is to expose current MS of BS students, studying in the field of Structural Engineering with emphasis in Building Design, to the structural engineering profession.  In order to achieve this goal we team up interns with experience principals, project managers and project engineers to take on tasks based upon the engineers capabilities.  These tasks could include smaller projects, smaller parts of larger projects, computer modeling, and construction administration.  Mentoring plays a key role in the development of our interns and providing opportunities for joining in a site visit, client meeting, or structural observation, are an integral part of the summer program to expose our interns to the industry. Our second goal is to expose the intern to the culture of our firm with our ultimate goal of re- hiring our interns after graduation.

If you are interested in a summer internship please upload your resume and specify in your cover letter which office location you are interested in.
